It's a bit of a nightmare to try to navigate for the average Joe. I feel sorry for the average consumer that sprung for the latest equipment but is unaware of the specific capabilities of all the streaming source and playback devices. I know Disney+ will do Dolby Atmos via Xbox one, but I'm not sure about Netflix or Amazon. So other than buying a BD, streaming wise I have Netflix, Disney+, and Amazon Prime. This is a truly sumptuous disc that will give your whole system a workout right from the first frame. I've only got a 65" TV sitting about 12 feet away so I doubt anyone (except with a magnifying glass) is really going to notice the difference between 4K BD and 4K Streaming do to the compression artifacts (but that can be for another thread discussion). 4K Samples Panasonic, Samsung, Hisense, LG, Sony, Philips l Panasonic, Samsung, Hisense, LG, Sony, Philips 4K samples for download in H264, with 3840x2160 resolution. I'm not looking to build a Blue Ray collection but would spring for a disc that is THAT good over just streaming it. Uncompressed 4K demos, samples, and trailers, to show off your new ultra-HD (2160p) HDR/HLG/Dolby Vision television or monitor. It's great for the 4K but no Dolby Atmos or DTS:X.
Sadly I only have Planet Earth II UHD Blue Ray Disc and just started watching it. Something other than an Action Movie scene with a bunch of explosions/gunfire/etc (Avengers, Mad Max, etc). Looking for suggestions for the best movie (and specific scene?) that really shows off 4K + Dolby Atmos (or DTS:X) experience.
